GHRHR

It seems as if nature itself is already investigating ways to counter hypergrowth, overpopulation and overconsumption. It’s creating perfectly proportioned, but small, human beings. Pituitary dwarfism, also known as Dwarfism of Sindh, is a form of growth absense where all parts of the body grow equally slow. At the core of this proportionate shrinking is a role for GHRHR, Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone Receptor. It is essential for normal somatotroph proliferation and for the synthesis and secretion of growth hormone (GH). What makes it an interesting hormone is that the available GHRHR continues to distribute growth homones evenly throughout the body, making proportionate growth possible. Pituitary dwarfism does cause some minor health issues but as an experiment by nature itself, in creating a smaller species of human beings, it could be considered quite succesful

GHRHR is an interesting hormone for another reason as well. Its antagonists have been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer.
